Naturopathic Fertility Optimization
Failing to achieve or maintain a healthy pregnancy can be one of life’s biggest stressors.
Have you experienced repeated pregnancy losses or been diagnosed with unexplained infertility and told there are no options left except egg donation or adoption?
Do you already have a child or children but are struggling to get pregnant again? They call it secondary infertility, but there must be an explanation for why.
Are you feeling like nobody is looking at the big infertility picture, which has left you with unanswered questions as you attempt to figure it out on your own?
Are you in the early stages of planning your family and wanting to be proactive with your health to support a healthy conception and pregnancy.
Naturopathic fertility optimization is a unique, holistic approach you’ll find nowhere else.
Unlike the conventional approach to fertility medicine, naturopathic care looks at the bigger picture of your health and how the pieces fit together to affect fertility.
We use advanced functional medicine lab testing to uncover the root cause. These specialized tests include bloodwork, saliva hormone testing, urine hormone testing, stool analysis, food sensitivity testing, and more.
The naturopathic approach is highly personalized, gentle, and supportive—working with your body to prepare it for a healthy conception and pregnancy.

Meet Dr. Rosia Parrish
Dr. Rosia Parrish is a Naturopathic Doctor and Fertility Specialist dedicated to helping individuals and couples optimize their fertility and build healthy families. She understands that every path to parenthood is unique and provides personalized, comprehensive care at every stage of the fertility journey.
For those preparing to conceive, Dr. Parrish focuses on preconception health and fertility optimization through individualized treatment plans, fertility awareness and cycle tracking, nutrition, hormonal health, and support following hormonal birth control.
For individuals and couples experiencing fertility challenges, Dr. Parrish takes an investigative, whole-person approach to uncover factors that may be affecting reproductive health. Her areas of focus include unexplained and secondary infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss and miscarriage, failed IUI and IVF cycles, male factor infertility, high sperm DNA fragmentation, egg and sperm quality, and preparation for assisted reproductive technologies.
She also works with ovulatory and hormonal conditions that can affect fertility, including diminished ovarian reserve, premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), PCOS, PMS, luteal phase concerns, secondary amenorrhea, and hypothalamic amenorrhea.
Dr. Parrish believes fertility optimization can begin well before a diagnosis of infertility. Rather than waiting for up to a year of trying to conceive, multiple pregnancy losses, or unsuccessful fertility treatments, she helps patients take a proactive and early intervention approach to understanding and supporting their reproductive health.
Dr. Parrish earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the esteemed Bastyr University and completed advanced practitioner training through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). With more than 25 years of combined clinical and research experience, she brings a depth of knowledge to complex fertility cases and is skilled at identifying underlying factors that may be overlooked in a standard fertility evaluation. Her approach combines naturopathic and functional medicine with comprehensive fertility assessment to create personalized, practical treatment plans that support each patient’s path to parenthood.

What to Expect
01: Initial Fertility Consultation (virtual)
You will be asked to complete an extensive intake form and submit all labs and imaging related to fertility that have been completed within the last 12 months before your first visit. This allows Dr. Parrish to review the materials and make the most of your time together. Please allow up to 75 minutes for your initial consultation.
02: Functional Medicine Testing
Based on your health history, fertility journey, and previous lab results, Dr. Parrish may recommend additional testing to identify underlying factors that could be affecting fertility. Testing is personalized and may include blood, urine, saliva, or stool analysis to evaluate reproductive and thyroid hormones, nutrient status, metabolic health, gut health, immune function, environmental exposures, and other factors that may influence reproductive health.
For male fertility, comprehensive semen analysis and sperm DNA fragmentation testing may also be recommended to provide a more complete assessment of sperm health and fertility potential.

04: Optimization & Coordination
Follow-up consultations are an important part of your fertility journey, allowing Dr. Parrish to assess your progress, review new findings, and adjust your treatment plan to support your fertility goals.
Dr. Parrish believes in a collaborative approach to care and works alongside your healthcare team to provide comprehensive, coordinated support. When appropriate, she may provide referrals and collaborate with your OB/GYN, reproductive endocrinologist or fertility clinic, endocrinologist, nutritionist, therapist, acupuncturist, pelvic floor physical therapist, or other specialists involved in your care.
